DESCRIPTION:Our guest speaker for the April 24th meeting will be Brittany Muhamed Trapwell\, an Immigration Attorney at the law firm of Dean Kantaras. Brittany will be presenting on immigration consequences in criminal cases\, a topic which has become increasingly important over the last few months.\nBrittany was born in Ontario\, Canada and immigrated with her family to the United States at the age of 3. With a father who emigrated from Egypt and mother whose family emigrated from Ireland\, Brittany’s interest in immigration began at an early age. \nBrittany attended the University of Central Florida where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science\, with a concentration in international relations and diplomacy. Brittany attended West Virginia University College of Law where she was President of the Student Bar Association and served as a student attorney for the Immigration Law Clinic. Brittany now leads the Immigration Law practice at K. Dean Kantaras\, P.A. \nThe meeting will be held in-person in the conference room behind the Clerk’s Office and that food and drinks will be provided
